Are we for transparency or secret backroom deals? What is wrong with political parties the supposed representatives of the people from telling the people that there is an Interparty discussions going on? Why is this a secret from the media and the people? So grown up adults cannot disclose to the public -  the people's business without discussing details? Seriously???? This is what it has come down to...

Gambians are sick and tired of the excuses...I thought after the NADD debacle PDOIS said any discussion will have to be public because of the 'He said, she did' finger pointing...  that brought down NADD. Talk about transparency? Talk about consulting the people for 20 years and yet they don't understand? Talk about political leaders inability to multitask? Talk about cherry picking what group should say what and when? As if the political situation in the Gambia is normal business.. go slow and nothing to be worried about? Is this about Gambia? Or about CORDEG or one political party or another? Seriously? What time and year is it? Silly political season with primary school execuse... Give me a break!~

Political Amateurism and lack of urgency if you ask me...

Sadly, the message contain a confidential meeting between the oppositions on the ground. PDOIS felt it necessary to cancel the meeting all because of the Cordeg press release. Cordeg need to in future send their propose press statement to the parties they are dealing with, get the agreement from all sides before firing. UDP initiated an inter-party dialogue on electoral reforms, however, until today, the meeting was never made public. PDOIS use the cordeg statement to made public the meeting and along the way even release Lawyer Darboe's text message.
