I hear you Burama. I think it is the messaging that has to be re-framed to reflect the reality. I believe the vehicles were donated by the government, and not necessarily by Adama himself. Yes I totally agree with you that if not checked, President Barrow may take,  as the saying goes in Mandinka .... translation.... "old road leads to old village". I think the information Minister should have his hands wrapped around this bad culture of the past. The motive is clear,  make the President look great in the eyes of the citizens, which is generally acceptable. The same was true in the case of Yaya Jammeh. However, we must never make anybody, President or otherwise look good by misleading, or to put it bluntly, lying to the Gambian people. Only in the Third World countries such deliberate acts of this magnitude will go down without serious consequences. I hope DA Jawo sets the record straight on this one.. I have no doubt that Adama sincerely want to leave a shiny legacy he can be proud of, corruption is certainly not one of them. Too early to judge? True.
