Greetings All,

Please find attached the flyer to announce tomorrow’s Webinar on the theme: "Facilitating Diaspora participation in Gambian Policy and Elections."

Please read the email (below) with login details. As some of you may know, the Migration and Sustainable Development in The Gambia (MSDG) project is currently being implemented by GK Partners (GKP), in partnership with the Government of The Gambia, and funded by the Swiss Government. This is a technical cooperation project and the Lead Consultant and Project Director is Professor Gibril Faal of London School of Economics (LSE) and GK Partners.

One of the things we have been doing for the past few weeks is to have weekly Webinars on different themes - relevant to the Gambian Diaspora and Development. So far, we have had three Webinars. The fourth MSDG’s webinar will take place this Saturday (25/11/17) at 6pm GMT and will last for two hours. The highly respected legal scholar, Attorney General and Minister of Justice of the Gambia, Abubacarr Tambadou, otherwise known as “Ba”, will be one of the speakers.

As stated above, it will be held under the theme, “Facilitating Diaspora Participation in Gambian Policy and Elections”. In short, it will centre on policy, future elections and possible constitutional reforms to allow for out of country voting for Gambian diaspora communities around the world. The Webinar will be moderated by Professor Gibril Faal and is strictly non-partisan.

Regards,

Ebrima
