Joint par Reporters sans frontières (RSF), Charles Coffey, le président de l’Union de la Presse au Libéria (PUL) s’est dit “choqué par la cruauté de ce meurtre” et “inquiet que cela alimente la peur et l'autocensure parmi les journalistes libériens.” “Nous demandons aux autorités libériennes de mener une enquête sérieuse et approfondie pour éclaircir les circonstances de ce meurtre, sans écarter la piste professionnelle, déclare Arnaud Froger, responsable du bureau Afrique de RSF.
