Thanks for the message. I do agree about taking precautions to ensure that things happen correctly with the money etc. I have been involved with a link between North Bromsgrove High School (I am retired but still closely involved) and Armitage Senior Secondary School at Janjang-Bureh. We have small student exchange visits inward and outward more or less every year.

I should have made clear that the family in the UK already have a Gambian friend in The Gambia whom they wish to help. Originally they were thinking of helping the student to study in the UK but they discovered that the cost is prohibitive. Anyway if there is any sutitable IT training in The Gambia it is probably in the best interests of the country that they should help the student tostudy there.

I would be grateful for any details you have of the GTTI email address - (I have a friend who lectures there) and of courses and fees.

Do Gamtel offer any suitable training?

All the best, Mike Carrick. Bromsgrove near Birmingham, England.
