Thanks for the message. I do agree about
taking precautions to ensure that things happen correctly with the money
etc. I have been involved with a link between North Bromsgrove High School
(I am retired but still closely involved) and Armitage Senior Secondary School
at Janjang-Bureh. We have small student exchange visits inward and outward
more or less every year.
I should have made clear that the family in the
UK already have a Gambian friend in The Gambia whom they wish to help.
Originally they were thinking of helping the student to study in the UK but they
discovered that the cost is prohibitive. Anyway if there is any sutitable
IT training in The Gambia it is probably in the best interests of the country
that they should help the student tostudy there.
I would be grateful for any details you have of the GTTI email address - (I
have a friend who lectures there) and of courses and fees.
Do Gamtel offer any suitable training?
