Hi Folks

Once again, from the 'Smiling Coast' - The Gambia, the Yellowgate team
wishes to announce the coming of the 5th issue of the Yellowgate Newsletter
on the web.

Let me first of all wet your appetite! You must have heard about the FTI
Millennium Festival '99, featuring South Africa's Lucky Dube, Senegalese
superstar Youssou Ndour, Mass Lowe, Da Fugitivz, Saf Sap, Born Africans,
Dancehall Masters, Pencha B plus the soccer fiesta from 1-7th November.

Wait! There's also the 2000 Drum Salute Carnival, for December 31st to usher
in the new millennium, being packaged by a UK promoter, Paul Pryce. Now why
do we need to bother you with these.? Well. Elie Nachif is creating and
producing a six-group musical compilation of the 2000 Drum Salute and he
will blend his voice with other Gambian youths to the song "Gambia No
Problem"! The compilation will be released on CD and cassette.

Don't miss out on these great happenings. Read all about it and more hot
news in the newsletter. Read all about GRTS' Manyenya Dambell plus the
latest developments in the Gambian music scene.

Subscription to Yellowgate Newsletter http://www.yellowgate.gm/ - Out in a
few days time.

Chill out!
