For Freedom Saiks Hello list members, I just returned from the Gambia on the 28th of December, 1999. I am pleased to let all Gambians and Gambian friends that, the Department of State for Education hast started Scholarship Trust Fund for Girls Education in The Gambia. They are asking a minimum monthly pledge of five dalasis or 50cents USA. Any contribution higher than this will be highly appreciated. Also, the Gambian Association of Chicago and MIinnesota has donated the sum of $260.00 to National Committee for Disaster Relief, Emergency and Resettlement for the flood victims in certain communities in the country. Any assistance one can offer to these victims will be appreciated. May God bless us all.
