I have been trying to take my son's basil underarm morning temp but
couldn't find a glass basil thermometer. I have a digital basil which beeps
before a minute is up. I think I have a way around this. I put the basil
digital thermometer under his arm and do not turn it on. Leave it there for
ten min then I turn it on. I think I get an accurate temp doing it in this
manner. This morning he was 36.5 C (97.7 F) using the method described
above.

Sound like I am doing it correctly??

Colleen
