Sandi,
Thanks so much for the Armour story. I will be trying it, to see if my
glucocorticoid adjustments due to Addison's Disease affect me less on the
Armour than on the Synthroid. (on synthroid, every time I have to up
steroids for infection, stress, etc, I go extremely hypothyroid for a few
days-terrible symptoms).

I, too, have plantar fasciitis. It started about 2-1/2 years ago. 2 years
and three podiatrists later, with orthotics, PT, stretches of the fascia
before arising from bed, pain was only a little better. The 3rd podiatrist
handed me a very thin set of heel pads, to put under my orthotics. He said,
try them, see if they help. Plantar fasciitis pain disappeared in three
days!! I have guessed that my heel needed the slight raise to take stress
off the fascia that is being pounded with every step. Also, no barefoot
walking any more. Contoured sole in bedroom slippers, etc.

Good luck & thanks again
holly
