No, they won't.  These doctors are in "paradigm paralysis" viz. treating
hypothyroidism.    They worship at the shrine of the TSH test and will
acknowledge no other gods.

You need to find a doctor who will treat your wife outside the "box" to which
she has been thus far confined.

The first step is to look at the docs in Florida to be found at
www.thyroid.about.com under "best docs."  Second, go to
www.wilsonssyndrome.com, and learn about "Wilson's Syndrome."   There you can
1).  have your eyes opened and your consciousness dilated; 2) find a new doc
who uses Wilson's protocol; and 3). help your wife help herself (knowledge is
power).
