I personally don't have a problem signing a petition asking Vispero to revive Window-Eyes. However, I won't sign this particular petition for several reasons, not the least of which is that I don't think it's professionally written, its stated reason for why Window-Eyes was discontinued is just speculation without evidence being presented and it doesn't make a convincing case for why the software should be revived. It falsely accuses the very company being petitioned of being a monopoly, a statement which can easily be disproven. It insults Vispero rather than using respectful language. It contains poor grammar and the argument for honoring someone who many people, myself included, have never heard of just makes no sense and is completely irrelevant from the purpose of the petition. This petition will do absolutely nothing for Window-Eyes or its users and it actually could hurt the cause. This assumes there's even any hope of Vispero even considering the revival of Window-Eyes and this is not at all likely. This petition should not be promoted and should be immediately withdrawn and rewritten.

Mike I agree. I suggested improving Jaws with things that WE did well. His response "go to hell" I've forwarded it to the admins.

Simon

Why in the world would Vispero even consider resurrecting Window-Eyes a this point given that they have a very successful product in JAWS?
While the petition is harmless; I'd view it as a waste of time at this point.
Freedom Scientific would, in effect, be competing against itself and tying up additional resources.
Freedom Scientific took good care of us WE users providing a free JAWS with
2 SMA's to boot.
While I was sorry that WE wuld no longer be updated, I have commend Vispero in how they treated us WE customers.
