The Kenwood THD74A is thee most accessible HT you can find at 
this time.  Only thing is that it costs $479 from Main Trading 
Company.  I just got one a couple weeks ago and am feeling pretty 
comfortable with it now, at least programming analog information.  
Have not gotten in to DStar  yet.  73, Jim WA6EKS
