On Wednesday, the Celiac related lists at StJohns will be moving to a
new home.

We have been hosted at StJohns since November 1994 as part of their
outreach program to the community. The issue of supporting the Internet
has been an annual item of discussion for the last few years. Recently
the University announced that all StJohns list would stop on 1 February
2006.

StJohns provided support to about 134,951 subscribers under 435 Lists.
There is no way the Listowners can every thank the University for the
years of wonderful support and the ability to reach out to the celiac
Community. The actual reason for the change in University policy was not
provided. We can only thank them for giving us adequate time to obtain a
new home for the Lists.

Several of the Listowners has started a non profit corporation, ICORS,
and will be hosting the Lists through a service provided by L-Soft.
Since L-Soft is the creator of the Listserve software, I have no
concerns with the future of the Lists. The hosting costs are very
reasonable and will not be passed along to our subscribers.

No action is required on your part. Everything moves to the old host and
will include the logfiles.

As details are obtained you will see additional messages as I pass this
information along to the Celiac Community

These Lists will be impacted:

CELAIC
CELIAC-DIETETIC
CELAIC-DIABETES
CEL-KIDS

One special request, please do not contact StJohns as they consider this
a closed issue.

I will be sending a copy of this message to all of the List, so you may see
duplicate copies.

Everything moves to the old host and will include the logfiles.

The only action required on your part is to update your personal Spam
control to include messages from icors.org and to use the new hostname for
new messages later in the month. After the move, both addresses will
work for email being sent to our Lists.

If you would like additional information on the non profit corporation
or potential details on our new host, you may visit ICORS at

Here are the new address that will be used by the List (replace Listname
with the appropriate list name)

We have had a few requests for a quick list of how email and web addresses
will work on the new server -- here is the basic info:

Email address to post to the list:

        <listname>@listserv.icors.org

Email address to send commands to the server:

        [log in to unmask]
([log in to unmask] will be forwarded to this address as well)

Email address to contact the list managers:

        <listname>[log in to unmask]

Web URL for list archives:

        http://listserv.icors.org/archives/<listname>.html

Email address to unsubscribe directly (either will work):

        <listname>[log in to unmask]
        <listname>[log in to unmask]

Email address to subscribe directly:

        <listname>[log in to unmask]
