I've had similar problems with people just not understanding that children can not have gluten in their diet mine is my mother in law my children have been gluten free for about 1 year and I talked to her about it explained the seriousness gave a short list of foods she could give them. She still ask me if they can have gluten yet and insists on giving them foods they are not allowed. She loses every list I give her and says well I didn't know if they were allowed it so I just gave it to them. This is supposed to be their grandmother who is meant to love them enough to care about their health. How do you get around that? she lives in the same small city goes to their school and has lunch with them, I find out later.I now don't let my children go to her house with out my supervision, now she being accuses me of being a mean mother making all the gluten free diet up to keep them away from seeing their grandmother.
Its nice to know that so many out there understand what we all go though, but when will other people get the gf diet.
Olivia
