I was diagnosed w/ CS 5 years ago. I have kept my son on a GF diet until
recently. Twice he had wheat in a snack he got nfrom other kids. He then got
diarrhea. I thought it may be a reaction to never having wheat, since it
seemed to me that it would take some time before the antibodies caused
intestinal damage. He had the giladin antibody blood tests last month. They
came back negative, but another Dr. then informed me that he should have been
fed gluten before the test inorder for the antibodies to occurr. I never went
back because they had to stick him 7 times before they got a sample! I have
since fed him wheat products and he has gotten a yellow diarrhea again. I
guess I have my answer, but I was just looking for some advice. He has such a
limited diet to begin with-he won't eat meat or vegetables, and he's only 25%
weight, but 50% height for his age (2). Help?!

Thanks
Dana
