I am 49 years old, always been thin. Since my diagnosis I have put on
weight but I'm still not heavy enough to say I am overweight. The first
year I guess they assumed it was Type 2 because of my age. We tried all
meds and diet but my numbers kept getting higher and higher. They finally
realized I had to be on insulin. Within a year I was up to 4 plus
injections a day. Guess I should have explained that.
Thanks for your reply.
