I don't know if this will be of help to anyone, but my husband is a type II
diabetic, and allergic to animal protein. Cow's milk seems to be the worst
for him, so some years ago, I started raising goats so he and my son could
drink the milk. It seems to be much less disturbing to his intestinal tract.
I believe it is much easier for humans to digest. Since his body is not
fighting the cows milk all the time (he can consume 1-2 gals./per day) his
blood sugar stays much lower also.
