Barbara Garson:
She really looked around the world to see how money and Globalization
affect the lives of people and she'll be telling us about it and
answering our questions for the October Anarchist Forum,
October 8 - 7:30 PM at the Brecht Forum.

On Tuesday, October 8, at 7:30pm, the Libertarian Book
Club’s Anarchist Forum welcomes the author of the hit antiwar satirical
play MacBird!, Barbara Garson, who will talk about what she saw and
learned pursuing her $65,000 book advance around the world from upstate
New York to Thailand. Conversing with fishermen in Malaysia and laid
off workers in Tennessee, she comes to an understanding of the human
problems resulting from the current way money works in our
Globalization world. After an hour or so of speaking about her
adventures, Barbara Garson will answer questions and sort things out
with the audience.

The event will take place at the Brecht Forum on the
10th floor of 122 West 27th St. [between 6th and 7th Aves.], a short
walk from the 28th St. 1, 2, N, and R stops, the 34th St. B, D, and Q
stop, and the 23rd St. F and V stop. There is no set fee for the
presentation, but a contribution to aid the LBC is requested. If you
have questions, contact the LBC /Anarchist Forum, 212-979-8353, 339
Lafayette St., Room 202, NYC, NY 10012 or e-mail:
