This week on Realistic Utopia, we present the annual Chaos Day lecture
by anarchist philosopher Peter Lamborn Wilson.

Since 1985, Peter Lamborn Wilson has given a talk shortly before the
winter solstice as part of the Libertarian Book Club's monthly Anarchist
Fora, and on in his 18th annual talk (Dec 10 2002) he spoke on anarchist
spirituality. Mostly he concentrated on christian anarchism, on the
theory that Christianity, is the religion most American anarchists grew
up with and therefore "the religion we hate the most" and the one which
presents the greatest challenge for him to find good things about.

I could go on, but if you're familiar with Wilson--or his friend Hakim
Bey--then you already want to hear what he has to say; if you don't know
his work, then it'd take to long to explain.

To see out some of his writings, do internet searches on "Peter Lamborn
Wilson" & "Hakim Bey" (an odd way to find out about a self-described
"paleolithic reactionary" who lives without such dubious technology as
computers; but then, he doesn't have a TV either, and yet here we go
putting him on the idiot box anyway...)

Realistic Utopia is on Monday nights at midnight on Manhattan public
access channel 34 (if you have RCN, it's on channel 107, or 108, or 109,
or 110, or something); simulcast on the internet at www.mnn.org
