Oh Sharon. I really identify with you in so many ways with your dad. And it makes it so much more difficult when we have to do transportation. I will pray for you and your dad. May God give you a big portion of his comfort and wisdom.

Vicki

Subject: Update on my Dad

> Dad's been home and hasn't complained about more back pain but uses a walker right now. But my sister Judy is finally at the end of her rope of caring for him at home, so we plan to move him to a place in Mountain Home in Idaho. It's farther away from us but closer to our brother Dale's farm. He is so confused now that he sometimes needs help getting dressed. I went to Judy's house to be with him and allow her and husband Wendell to go do something else. He seemed to want to talk with me more than usual and I could tell some of the severity of this by his repeated questions, something like, "How did you learn to talk? when didd you start learning to talk? What were the first words you said, like mama and papa& "Did you talk to your parents? Did you talk to your brothers and sisters?",, and variations of that, etc. I wish he could live here in Nampa so I could get a ride to see him much more easily. I'm the one who has more time on my hands than the rest of my family, which is frustrating to me. oh well, at least I might have more nice trips down that, way, kind of like when he and Mom lived on their farm&
