As we reach the 100 day mark for the Presidential administration, we know
that all of our communities have been attacked. We also know that together,
there are millions more of us than there are of them. As the Women's March
reaches the 10th of our 10 Actions / 100 Days campaign, we lift up the
intersectional platform that we all created together. We must continue to
send a clear message that our movements are all working together, that all
the issues we work on are intersecting, and that we will no longer accept
attempts to divide us and pit us against each other for political gain.

*On May 8, 2017 - exactly six months after Election Day and during the
Congressional recess - we are calling for demonstrations and sit-ins at
legislators' home offices. *We ask you to join us in one or all of the
following 3 ways:

   - Sign on to the open letter we have attached to this email. *We would
like our partners to sign onto the letter no later than May 4th. *
   - Share this letter and the May 8th action with your network.
   - Sit with us on May 8th.

*Please fill out this google form

by
May 4th to let us know if you are interested in partnering on this action. *

We will be specifically calling on Congress to uphold the values of the
letter when considering the upcoming "America First" budget. We know this
budget will attempt to put us in competition with each other -- to argue
that funding the NEA is in conflict with supporting our national parks or
public schools. We ask you to join us in rejecting this, and instead in
banding together to pledge allegiance not to those seeking to oppress or
harm us, but to each other.

In the coming week, we will host a webinar training on nonviolent civil
disobedience to help strengthen all our movements. We are also developing a
toolkit with information on how to safely participate in demonstrations and
civil disobedience.

Please direct your questions about our #PledgeOfLiberation campaign to our
action co-leads, Brea or Sophie, who are copied here. We hope you will join
us in this cross-movement act of resistance!
