Dear Sally and Mary:

Your post contains quite a number of assertions supported by no
evidence. Beginning with the 7,200 B.C. milk use statement, one would expect
a better citation than a Smithsonian brochure (I have the utmost respect for
the Smithsonian, but really....). It is interesting to hear that there is
only one kind of lactose-intolerance and that all the world's people respond
to yogurt the same as well as to "supermarket milk".
