<<
<< Thank-you to Jane and Daniel who replied to the comment on physical,
emotional, spiritual and the relationships between the three. However both
these replies mentioned Buddhism and I realise there is much more to the
spiritual side than just Buddhism. Does anyone else have any comments to
make
regarding the spiritual aspects of counselling? >>

Why don't you read THE RULE OF ST.BENEDICT. You don't state at what stage of
development your study of the field is, but there is no better beginning and
ending to such a search than the Benedictine way. If it is not in
bookstores, write to The Canterbury Trust in America in Washington, D.C. for
a copy, or call them - the number is listed with information. (Benedict
Groeschel (sp?), psy., speaks to these issues, also, and of course Bede
Griffiths.) Cynthia McDonald
