May I suggest carb restrictions. Being diabetic, yet not knowing if you are
insulin dependant, either way, you already watch the carbs. My experience, in
being hypothyroid and hypoglycemic, was sugar busters. You can get a copy of
the book at your local library. It is very much in line with the familiar Dr.
Atkins, but doesn't restrict as much fruits and veggies, not to mention whole
grains and legumes. I retain much fluid myself, espeicially in my lower legs
and this has been the only way I have been able to shed the fluid and the
pounds. Just my experience....not for everyone. Good luck! Suzanne : )
