  Have any of you
experienced a medical ordor to your body since you have been taking
thyroid medicine? I am on Synthyroid.

I've never heard of this. I have these thoughts. 1.) I've heard that
Synthroid is made from petroleum. Is it a petroleum type of smell? 2.) You had
your thyroid removed, I don't know if you were hypothyroid first or for how
long, but some people don't perspire when they are hypo. Therefore, when sweat
returns the odor might change.

In some cases, premature gray hair is caused by hypothyroidism. Maybe this
is reversible. I never understood it but my mother's hair actually would start
turning gray and then it was as if the gray hair fell out and the remaining
hair was dark again.
