Thanks to everyone for comments on this. The sad thing about my situation
is that 3 months ago I was walking 3-1/2 to 4 miles a day. As long as it
wasn't too hot, I could do this without ill effect at least 3-4 days a
week. I have been doing this or using a good aerobic tape for years. But,
over the last about 8 months, I began to slow down finding it harder to get
out there and walk quite as many days a week. Heat just killed me this
summer, leading to feeling terrible for two days after a walk in it. Also,
it used to be relaxing for me, but about 2 or 3 months before my diagnosis,
I noticed I could not get my shoulders and neck to loosen up from a
vigorous walk anymore and it did not seem restorative anymore.

I think that is why I got so upset about my huge extra loss of stamina as
soon I started lavoxyl. It was like I just fell apart within about 3 weeks.
I also sit in front of a computer screen all day. I think this is bad for
people. I tense up throughout the day, I've noticed for me, and I believe,
that the light from the screen is deliterious for your circadian rythem and
various hormone levels. It is in the wrong wavelenths. Too much in the blue
range. I have substituted a grow light for my desk top flourescent light.
But it doesn't put out much, I don't think it can undo all the computer
light. I feel I need to find other employment that has more variety of
atmospheres and a little physical activity. I have a great job, but see
that it is not a healthy one. I don't even have a window near me.

Tish
