Well I received my Fine Needle Biopsy result today. The doctor said it was
non-malignant and there were Hurthle cells found. He is recommending that I
go to a speacilist. My TSH results have been as follows:
Jan 28th .285 , Feb 1st .385, Mar 2 .411 The only other result he gave me
was that my free T4 was 13 ( Lab range 9-24). He did state it was strange
to have such normal blood work results. My Nuclear Uptake Scan results were
28% after 4hrs and 50% after 24 hrs.
Has anyone had the Hurthle Cells and what exactly does this indicate. He
seems to think everything is non-malignant, yet I did read up that even
Begign Hurthles can become malignant, and most they can not tell until
removal. Anyone out there with information? I would appreciate some insight
Thank you
