hello beatriz,

ask your endocrinologist if they've heard of westhroid. or
naturethroid. internationally it is marketed under a couple of
different names.

as for your synthroid, you do have to quit it or at least taper down,
but that is advice best received from your doctor.

my starting dose was 30mg, or what is known as "half a grain". a full
grain is 60mg. mostly i hear of it being therapeutic at 90mg and above,
but how much you should take depends entirely on your condition. you
want to look at the free t3 and free t4 levels and get to optimal
levels, not just be "within normal range". the range of doses is very
wide, going all the way up to 300mg in some cases, before the patient
feels better. and it can take up to 6 weeks before the dose starts to
work. so i really recommend self-medication and titration only as a
last resort.

armour and naturally dessicated thyroid medicine isn't new at all. i'm
sure your endocrinologist or other doctors will have heard of it, if
only under whatever name it was distributed under, in that country.

good luck,
baron
