Lindsay -

I am also in search of a good ENDO in New England. Like you I live in Maine
and my current endo (in Portland area) is worthless.

My PCP is up in arms with the endo because of his lack of follow-up planning
and his failure to be pro-active in my care.

I have just found out I have hyperinsulinemia because I insisted the endo do
a glucose tolerance test. My thyroid seems to have stabilized but despite HRT
my testosterone remains extremely low. The ENDO doesnt seem to think this is
a big deal. Maybe not to him its not, but it is to me.

I am looking into the Lahey Clinic in Burlington MA and the Joslin Institute
in Boston (primarily diabetes treatment). There was a highly recommended
doctor by the name of Kenneth Blanchard at Lahey but it appears he is no longer
there.

If you have any luck finding a good endo, please share!

Dan
