trouble with "Call Driver" button in Uber app

I'm wondering if anyone else has trouble activating the "Call Driver" 
button in the Uber app. It's apparently supposed to open the Phone app, 
but mine almost always seems to do nothing. Does anyone have any 
experience or thoughts they can share re this issue?
