This will only give you the visible mail headers which isn't going to be what the administrators of the email server are going to need. Here's an article from Microsoft explaining this: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/view-internet-message-headers-in-outlook-cd039382-dc6e-4264-ac74-c048563d212c

Obviously the support team you need to send the message to can tell you exactly what you need to provide to them.

Expanding on my quick idea.
And, include the message header, before copying the email message.

Press reply, reply to all or forward.
You will see the message header in the body of the email.
Copy your email message, which now has the message header.
Save it in a Word or text document.
Then, attach it to your email.

You will have it as a Word document for future reference.

Ricky.
Here is an idea.
You copy your email message and paste it into a Word or text document.
Save your Word or text document.
Then, attach it to your email.

This is a quick idea.

Subject: [VICUG-L] Forwarding my own message .eml format in Outlook 2016 in Windows 10?

Hi list

I sent two messages to different recippients which were rejected but their service provider said the problem could be solved by forwarding the message to the email support but they say in Outlook it should be forwarded as an attachment but I can't find any option to forward as an attachment, so how do I do it in Outlook 2016 in Windows 10?

Thanks.

Ricky Lomey
