Forms controls are fundamental interactive elements of the web and it is 
important to understand what makes them accessible and usable to people 
with disabilities.  IN this first part of this series participants will 
learn how to label form controls with standard label elements and with 
ARIA techniques, and how the different techniques affect user 
interaction. The course will include techniques to provide a consistent 
visual keyboard focus indicator across browsers for form controls. 
Participants will understand the Section 508 and W3C WCAG 2.0 
requirements that apply to form controls

*Part 2: Creating Accessible Forms Part 2: Accessible Error Feedback and 
Instructions *

Tuesday Jan. 31 at 11 Pacific, noon Mountain, 1 Central and 2 Eastern

The second part of this series will demonstrate the history of 
techniques for providing accessible error feedback, and the latest 
techniques available using ARIA.  The session will also look at the 
issue of providing accessible instructions.  Participants will 
understand the W3C WCAG 2.0 requirements that apply to error feedback 
and correction in form controls.

The audio will be transcribed and the transcription will be posted later 
with the archive.
