I’m not completely sure about praying without ceasing. Is it a constant mouth or mind chattering, conversing with God about everyday things large and small? could it include a general watchful attitude, almost like a mode, where you think to pray first before looking at the surrounding circumstances that would otherwise overwhelm us and make us wonder how in the world we should handle it? I’ve been reading books that Jerry Jenkins wrote himself or a co-author. Many of them involve spiritual warfare, and the believers sometimes tend to take their eyes off Jesus take action, and worry before they realize that they need to go back to praying.
!And another question. Maybe you’ve answered this one before, but I don’t think I let it stick in my understanding. When you are led to pray for an urgent situation that someone is in the middle of, do you ask and praise and command demons away when necessary , over and over, saying basically the same things for hours? can it be silent awareness of the circumstances kind of like standing next to God, watching the scene together with our ears cocked to say or do the next thing, and stillness in worship? One thing I do understand is that The Holy Spirit prays with groaning that words cannot express.
