You should keep in mind whether you want the new folder to be a subfolder of your inbox, or a separate folder. I like to create separate folders so I can use the Outlook keyboard shortcut commands to navigate between my inbox and other folders. Use the left and right arrow keys to move focus to where you want the folder. It’s a matter of personal preference.

Microsoft has an excellent support website with lists of keyboard commands for almost any Microsoft application I can think of including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and maybe some others I can’t remember. I encourage people to take advantage of doing Google searches to find information independently. If there is a page you want to come back to, create a bookmark in your browser.

Which keys do I need to create a folder for my new novels (detective/mystery)?

I need to separate the mails from other foldes and conbined them into one.
