Do you wish you knew more about what supports are available in local schools for our Want to talk to other parents and celiac disease expert, Beckee Moreland, about the struggles you face and proactive approaches in handling food and social concerns that school-aged children and teens face?

Join Beckee Moreland from Beyond Celiac (the non-profit organization that promotes awareness, advocacy, and action for people with celiac disease and their families) for an educational forum and discussion for Celiac Awareness Month. Members and parents of students with celiac disease will learn about the process and procedures for accommodating students in K-12 schools in the cafeteria and classroom.
Brought to you through a grant from the Ravitz Family Foundation, this forum will help you understand how you can be proactive in ensuring that your school district takes advantage of available resources and appropriately communicates with parents in providing the support our children need to live healthy lives without fear of food or social stigma.
Bring others that you know who have children with celiac disease, as well as your questions and ideas.
