Hello Listmates,

I have a college student with celiac disease who will be traveling around Europe this summer for two or three weeks. I was hoping that those of you who have traveled in Europe might have some good advice for how to best prepare for such a trip when you have celiac disease. At this time, I am looking for more general advice, as opposed to country specific advice. Of interest are how to prepare; what types of food to carry; how to best make sure you don’t get glutened; staying in hostels; etc... Any advice you have would be appreciated, particularly if you have personal experience with such gluten free travels.

As always, thank you all so very much!
