CHILDREN - INFANTES
===================

[Stan Mulaik 971220]
Io ha un question pro altere interlinguanos. Como on dice
in Interlingua lo que nos dice como "children" in anglese.
In anglese, nos ha tal usages:
   -------------------------------------------------
Allan Kiviaho 971221: Car Stan, io pensa que isto
question es multo simple. In accordo de IED
infante = 1. baby, infant; also: child
             2. infante
   -------------------------------------------------

Mr. and Mrs. Smith have two children.
       ---------------------------------
Allan: Sr. e sra Smith ha duo
       infantes
       ---------------------------------

In case passengers must abandon ship in lifeboats,
   women and children first.
       ----------------------------------------------
Allan: In caso le passageros debe abandonar le
nave in barcas de salvemento, le feminas e
infantes i in prime loco (primo).
       ----------------------------------------------

The children were separated from their parents and led
   away by the guards.
       -------------------------------------------------
Allan: Le infantes era separate de lor parentes e
conducite foras per le guardas (Hm ... In
       Auschwitz ...?).
       -------------------------------------------------

These books are excellent for children.
       -----------------------------------
       Allan: Isto libros son excellente
         pro infantes.
       -----------------------------------

"children" in anglese es un substantivo generic que
   refere a ambe sexos.
       -----------------------------------------------
Allan: An "children" es solmente le plural
(irregular) de "child"? On non pote dicer
       "childs", nonne?
       -----------------------------------------------

   Assi, como dice isto?
