Hmm... io credeva, que le pronunciationes de "y" e "i" in Interlingua es
le mesme, ergo "yo" es solmente un variation orthographic.

Secundo le section re "Spelling and Prounciation" in le IED:
   * i like i in 'machine'; when unstressed before a vowel, like i in
     'onion' or in 'phobia'); e.g. bile, biliose, varie;

   * y unstressed before vowels like y in 'yes'; otherwise like i in
     'machine'; e.g. Yugoslavia, typo.

Le "i" de "onion" e le "y" de "you" es pronunciate semper como [j];
quamquam le "i" de "phobia" es in mi dialecto [i:] como isto de
"machine", secundo dictionarios brittanic il sia anche [j].

"Io" e "yo" sia ambes pronunciate [jo], nonne?
