Le conjunction 'mais' (máis) appare in le IED. Io non lo ama a causa del  
confusion al vocabulo 'mais' (maís, angl. maize, Indian corn). Io prefere  
'sed'. Nonobstante, a cause que 'mais' appare in le IED, io lo accepta  
como vocabulo permissibile. Notabilemente, le conjunction 'ma', le qual  
multe interlinguaistas emplea, appare in le IED in parentheses quadrate.  
'Sed' e 'mais' non. Illos appare simplemente.
