Ingvar Stenstrom me scribeva in un littera private:

> Re le phrases a traducer: on non GANIA (=anglese win) donos
> de Natal, on los RECIPE o ES DONATE.

Ben que in portugese "ganhar" es OK, io vide le logica del cosa: "ganiar" in
Interlingua habe un senso ulterior de "conquesta", i.e., "ganiar" es "obtiner
per effortio". Ergo io solo pote concordar con Ingvar in que on NON "gania"
donos: on los "recipe".

Ma le tertie option non me pare applicabile: illo me pare plus tosto un specie
de anglicismo.

In anglese, si on habe phrases in le schema <subjecto> <verbo> <objecto-directe>
<objecto-indirecte>, como:

He told me a tale. = He told a tale to me.
He gave me a book. = He gave a book to me.

(Ille me contava un conto. = Ille contava un conto a me.)
(Ille me dava un libro. = Ille dava un libro a me. )

on pote facer duo typos de inversion. Le prime consiste in transformar le
OBJECTO DIRECTE in subjecto del nove phrase. Isto es le VOCE PASSIVE:

A tale was told to me by him.
A book was given to me by him.

(Un conto era contate a me per ille.)
(Un libro era date a me per ille.)

Iste construction es permittite tamben in portugese.

Le secunde inversion consiste in transformar le OBJECTO INDIRECTE in subjecto
del nove phrase:

    I was told a tale from/by? him.
    I was given a book from/by? him.

E *iste* construction non es possibile in portugese. "Io era date" significa que
alicuno me dava a alteruno.

Esque iste construction es possibile in altere linguas-fonte? O isto es un
construction strictemente anglese?
