BREAKING NEWS:Jammeh's mother moved following death threats!!!!
           BY OUR BANJUL BUREAU CHIEF
Gambia’s President Yahya Jammeh is seemingly worried about the ailing security situation in the country, as he ordered for the immediate transfer of his mother to a Kotu residence, following what well placed state house sources called death threats messages circulated at his mum’s residence in Bakau, the Freedom Newspaper can authoritatively reveal. Asombi Bojang, the President’s mother was moved with immediate effect, as sources say the President was not taking the death threats lightly. Security had been beefed up around the head of state mum’s current and former residence, the Freedom Newspaper was told. It is not yet clear who are behind the said activities, but sources say President Jammeh told his mother that whether she likes it or not she was going to vacate her Bakau residence. Below is the piece file by our Banjul Bureau Chief. Please read on…

  JAMMEH'S MUM MOVED TO
  KOTU FOLLOWING WILD
  DEATH THREAT MESSAGES!!!
The Gambia is a very insecure place these days. Jammeh's mother who was living in Cape Point Bakau all the while, an opposition stronghold, has suddenly been moved to a highly secured place in Kotu. The decision which is a top security secret in the country was disclosed to me by a woman who is for us (the Freedom Newspaper) and is always in the company of the President's mother.
According to undisputable sources, the whole problem started when the coup theory emerged and innocent and helpless Gambians were arrested and allegedly killed. Some unidentified people, in the form of letters and subversive messages, glaringly threatened the president's mother, Asombi Bojang, with death threats let her son stopped the madness in the country. Then while the mother was in Foni Bwiam for a naming ceremony this week, Jammeh transferred all her things to a new place in Kotu.
From Bwiam, she was then driven straight to her new place. She was said to not like that place as according to her, it is not as luxurious as where she used to be, but the son who has no respect, threatened to return her to Foni where she does not like, if she does not accepted. Today, that place is so highly secured just as State House.
According our sources, the place is a storey building situated near the resident of the Taiwanese ambassador. This move is calculated so that both the ambassador and the president's mother can be heavily secured simultaneously because they share the same neighborhood now.
However, residents in Bakau are now scared of moving around the former residence of Asombi Bojang as they fear to be suspected as the ones giving out threats and, as usual, accused of treason. There is a stiff surveillance mounted around the vicinity of her former residence just to apprehend suspects. This is a sad insecurity situation for our country. The President is said to be very scared now.
Meanwhile, the President has reinstated his mother's personal nurse who was sacked for fear that he was a spy. But when the president realized that that was a lie emanating form himself, he accepted his mother's call to bring back the nurse.
Our Banjul main man is closely monitoring developments and will keep our esteem readers posted about the said breaking news story. Read the Freedom Newspaper, your leading and most authoritative news media. We are on top of issues.
