Lamin Waa Juwara, the governor of the Lower River Region has written to the
Gambian leader His Excellency Sheikh Professor Alhaji Dr Yahya Jammeh,
thanking him for donating tractors to the chiefs and the women federation in
his region.

The message reads:
Following your recent generous tractor gifts to the Lower River Region
Seyfolu, regional Women Federation and to myself, I take this opportunity on
their behalf to register our collective sincere thanks and appreciation for
the noble gesture. This is a clear testimony that you indeed stand by your
back to the land clarion call in addressing the national food security
requirement.

Your type of leadership is unique indeed, as your love for your country is
not only reflected in words, but it is also proportionately amplified in
deed as well. Every other day comes with new surprises that are carefully
calculated to positively regulate the mindset of the citizenry towards a
positive change in the development process of the country.

I am with the conviction that the availability and effective use of these
tractors will in no small measure contribute to the overall agricultural
crop production in the country.

Your Excellency, the accelerated development process in the country, which
is made possible by your wise leadership and the creation, of the enabling
environment, coupled with your personnel and generous contributions, has
been hailed by the people of the Lower River Region. In view of the above,
the entire population of the region wish to reaffirm its support and
continued solidarity with you and your government.

Finally, the people and the six chiefs in the region, join me in praying to
God the Almighty in granting you and your family long life, good health,
success and the wisdom to guide the affairs of this great nation to a state
of an economic super status. While counting on your usual cooperation and
support, please accept the assurance of my highest consideration and esteem.

Lamin Waa Juwara
Governor, LRR

I present my compliment to Your Excellency on the occasion of our National
Day. I pray that Allah the Almighty continues to shower his blessings upon
you, your family and the entire Gambian populace. May the Almighty Allah
continue to guide us in pursuit of The Gambia’s development endeavours.

Also, on behalf of my family we wish you a Happy Birthday. I would like to
extend my heartfelt felicitation to Your Excellency, and pray for continued
progress, peace and prosperity for the government and people of The Gambia.
Once again, Your Excellency, may joy, happiness, goodwill and prosperity
embrace you in the years ahead. May Allah bless you with wisdom to govern
our fatherland and may you prosper in all your endeavours.

I once again seize this opportunity to renew the assurances of my highest
consideration.
