Our success or failure depends upon the harmony or disharmony of our individual
will with the Divine Will. It is the Divine Will that is manifested throughout the whole universe, which has created the whole universe; and it is part of the divine will that manifests
itself through us. Everything we do in life is governed and directed by that
power.

Now coming to the question of the will of man as opposed to the will
of God: which is which? We understand the difference when we perceive that the
nature of will power differs only according to whether it exists in its
fullness, or whether it is limited. The will power in its fullness is divine
power; the will power in its limited state is the individual will.

Resignation is a quality of the saintly souls. It is bitter in taste but sweet
in result. Whatever a man's power and position in life may be, he has always to
meet with a more powerful will, in whatever form it may manifest. In truth this
is the divine will. By opposing the divine will one may break oneself; but by
resigning oneself to the divine will one opens up a way.

Thinks that you cannot help let it manifest on its own terms to reduce your stress level. No matter how powerful and intelligent one is, or could be; God’s will is more powerful and more intelligent. Edi

We come to understand that there are two aspects of will working through all
things in life. One is the individual will, the other the divine will. When a
person goes against the divine will, naturally his human will fails and he finds
difficulties, because he is swimming against the tide. The moment a person works
in consonance, in harmony with the divine will, things become smooth.

To be religious sometimes seems different from to be a believer even thus a religious person should be term as a believer but in certain instances, religious people and leaders are the ones that seems to be non believers. This one is a true story; One ustas (a religious teacher in my town name withheld), during the time of Kukoi Samba sanyang, rebels were firing all over the center of town during the invasion of Senegalese soldier, he all at the sudden got panic telling his children and wife, push my big ass under the bed before they kill me. So we can see Every body wants to go to heaven but none of us wants to die, then again there is happiness in madness which only mad people know and if you want to realize that happiness, you have to be mad yourself. Edi

Sometimes things are accomplished without the least effort. When it is the
divine will it is like something floating on water; it advances without effort.
Problems and actions may be achieved in a moment then, whilst at other times the
smallest problem cannot be solved without great difficulty. One finds that some
persons are very clever and experienced in industrial work or in politics; and
they have striven very hard to attain their goal, and yet have accomplished
nothing; they are always a failure. And there are others who take up a thing,
and without much effort, without much worry on their part they complete it and
attain their goal.

Whatever power the divine God Creates He or She is the power to remove it, and it will never ask individuals to do it without his assistance but unity is alway the power but in His or Her Name and rules. With our human power, we always fail to understood the mightier power who gave us the wisdom we are enjoying.  People killing one and other for the name of God, how can you fight for someone more powerful than you are One who always said be and it is. He or She should not need any to fight for him and it will be contradictory if we said He/She is powerful yet powerless. Edi

All this is accounted for by harmony with the divine will. Everyone experiences
such a thing at some time or other. When things are in harmony with the divine
will, everything is there; we just glance towards a thing and it is found, as in
the saying, 'Word spoken, action done.' When we strive with all the material in
our hands and yet cannot achieve our desire, that is when the matter is contrary
to the divine will. Our success or failure all depends upon the harmony or
disharmony of our individual will with the divine will. ... Contentment and
perfect resignation open up a harmonious feeling and bring the divine will into
harmony with our own. Our blessing now becomes a divine blessing, our words
divine words, our atmosphere a divine atmosphere, although we seem to be limited
beings; for our will becomes absorbed into the whole, and so our will becomes
the will of God.

Finally, you can very educated and successful, but if you start contradicting the divine power instead of dealing with it accordingly with regards to its law, your downfall will be swift and you start to wonder “why”? ??   He gave you the power to help the creation not to harm them instead you chose your own law of harming the creation. God will never give the power to a ball heads hence they use that power to crucify (Reggae Bob) Edi

Dear readers,

I now plead with you all to let personality conflict aside and focus on one Africa. I thank you all so much and i hope this poem will serve that purpose of bringing unity among us as we long for unseating Jammeh soon.

The truth on the wall

O associates in struggle!
how about a unity bashing here?
that all may live to cherish
our only Ghandis, the Malcolms
and the kings of our small Gambia
whose efforts are all renowned
in their own small but noble ways
and only humans they are
you know with certainty of sight
the truth on the wall of this globe
that they all lived for this struggle
in their own little ways
when you and I ate the fine sandwiches
slept in big comfort beds
and rattling the computer keystrokes
with heavy hearts asunder
in America, London and elsewhere
taking the spears on their faces
and ourselves with useless sharp cuts
as we wallow in a world of fancy
and you know Halifa, Darboe and all
are all dreaming for a different Gambia
so how come you do not say-
Long live Halifa!
Long live Darboe!
Long live unity!
and long live all the true heroes!

O associates in struggle!
say no to the whisper of the devil
whose only wish is our division
resembing the groups in Somalia
who all called themselves Muslims
and at dawn time, they are brothers
before noon, they are tribal enemies
cutting the necks of their brothers at dawn
and if this is the Gambia, we long for
I am now embarrassed to be a Gambian
you should also feel the pain
and I would rather call myself an African
just so Africa of great fatherland
will not equate me with those useless sons
who destroyed hope and shattered unity
like the Jammehs, the Mugabes and the Taylors
so you all should now shake the hands
and bury the hatchet for a greater Africa
an Africa we all love and cherish
and that Africa we are all liberating
so you and I can hold the national flag
and singing our national anthem in chorus
so the colonial master doesnt laught at us
so long live Africa!
long live you and I!
long live unity and the struggle!
and long live Halifa, Darboe et al.
