Indeed Joe. Jawara failed to heed to simple precautions. The bottomline is,
he should have left after his tenth year in power. According to the archives
i read, the PPP did well in there first two term, but afterwards. It was
bottom up.
It also shows that, Africa's dictators are fragile.
