The Baby Scorpions of our beloved Gambia emerged as Africa's Under 17 Champions in the final encounter of the tournament played earlier today between them and the host nation, Algeria. The Algerians lost by 3 goals to 1.
The Gambian goalkeeper and Captain, Musa Camara not Capt. Dadis was also recepient of the Best Player of the Tournament having throughout only conceded 1 goal which was a penalty spot kick.
Today is a remarkable day in the annals of football history for The Gambia.
Due congrats to all our compatriots, particularly the Management of the Under 17 squad, the U 17 players and the Gambia Football Association for a perfect job done. Keep it up!
