Not bad Prince, kudos to a job well done. Some of us need to be reminded of
those two lines you mentioned..Keep on keeping on

This is to all the Gambia-L members.
Since it is 35 years ago we achieved our Independence, I have wanted to send
35 yellow roses to each of you (at the same time), but due to the logistic
impossibilities I have decided to send every one of you a card. This is a
card that I designed myself from an "Ala-Foody" software and I will also
like all of you to have the program, so that you can make and send your own
cards in future.
I am not fond of attachments in an email, because of the "creeping things"
that could go with it, but for this one I have no choice. Attached is my
Happy Anniversary Card to all Gambians at home and abroad, hoping that the
next 35 years will bring us better leaders
who would stop aggrandising themselves and really tackle the problems of the
country.
I would like to remind all Gambians of the first two lines of our National
Anthem:
"For The Gambia our homeland, we STRIFE and WORK and PRAY,
That ALL may live in UNITY, FREEDOM and PEACE each day."
These two lines contain all that we need. There is ONE word I find beautiful
in these lines and that is the word "ALL". This word does not only refer to
Gambians, but to ALL living in the Gambia. This is only comparable with the
words of Oussou Njie (Seņor) in his song "Gambia Suma Rew"
I wish you all JUSTICE, PEACE and PROGRESS
4 the Gambia.
Prince Coker
PS
While on-line click the "About" button at the bottom of the e-card and
connect to the site where you can download the program to make your own
cards.
