Dear All,

I used to believe - in fact still do – that the ruling elites in
Africa were the main problem and solely responsible for why Africa
is today haemorrhaging. But having
watched GRTS daily, for the past few weeks, (courtesy of Raaki.com), I have now
come to the conclusion that our societies are suffering more profound ills. Our
rulers/leaders have lost the authority of competence, our religious leaders that
of moral guidance, and our peoples the authenticity of those values (ngor,
doylu, sutura, kersa, etc) we like to brandish……My world!! What is
going on in The Gambia? Or has the Gambia now become a property owned
and managed by Yahya Jammeh?

I’ll expand on these points when time permits.

Meanwhile, I cannot thank the talented Buharry Gassama enough -
for giving us the opportunity to watch GRTS on a daily basis and free of charge
for that matter. May Allah repay/reward Buharry for all his kindness and good
work. The benevolent gesture is really appreciated. I cannot even find
appropriate words to describe how grateful I am to Buharry for making GRTS
available to us online via Raaki.com website.

Regards,

Ebrima
