A friend of mine working for the presidential campaigns enquired what foreigners who live in America can do if they cannot vote. This in an effort to give them an opportunity to participate in one of the basic tenets of Democracy. I suggested a couple of simple efforts:

1. If you have a vehicle, volunteer with one of the campaigns to offer rides to the elderly and or infirmed to polling stations and back home. If you do not have a vehicle, rent a minivan for the same purpose.

2. Purchase lots of bottled water and an ice chest and go around polling stations to offer it to voters in line.

If you can vote, then I would hope you have early-voted and you can volunteer to do the above on election day. Evain have you voted yet????? I just remmembered; Do not buy evian. Crystal Spring water will do. 99Cents/litre.

Haruna. Oh and when a pollster calls you to participate in a poll, Please do not lie to them. Democrat or Republican, please do not lie to pollsters. It is much better NOT to participate in the poll than lie to polltakers. Thank you in advance. Please report any irregularities to 1-877-GOCNN-08. Thank you and happy voting. MQJGDT. Darbo
