The statement below sounds very much like some statements coming from the big bad mouth of the Kanilai noise box. In ancient Rome, Emperors Nero and Caligula declared themselves gods. So have many tyrants in more recent history. Feeling that they have the power of live or death over their fellow beings makes these petty tyrants foolishly think that they have become god. Talk about absolute power absolutely corrupting the mind. Puny little despicable creatures - these power drunk tyrants and petty despots!

"Equatorial Guinea state radio has declared Obiang to be a god who is "in permanent contact with the almighty" and can "kill anyone without being called to account"." The Guardian newspaper
